We are looking candidates for Customer Service Executive (Transportation / Freight Logistics) position with one of the foreign global logistics companies.
The position is to be based in Thilawa, Thanlyin Township, Yangon.
Responsibilities
- Log customer orders, coordinate with Transport, Maintenance, and 3PL providers for vehicle scheduling and deliveries.
- Ensure on-time truck dispatch, manage SEZ gate passes, and handle customer- driver communication for documentation and issue resolution.
- Assist with invoicing, expense logging, and provide backup support when the main CSE is unavailable.
- Prioritize high-demand customers, provide personalized support, and address concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in preparing delivery and customer feedback reports. Negotiate with the carrier for cargo space, follow up shipment status, and cost entry into the system.
- Cooperation with the approved vendors in accordance with an agreed rate
- Track shipment and provide updated status with a required document to the destination side
- Update shipment info, invoicing, and communication with the client in real-time
- Maintenance of internal shipments record book
- Update data entry into the system related to shipment status events as per Events SOP.
- Outsourcing third parties according to job requirements and reporting back to the team leader.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role.
- Ensures clear communication and prompt, reliable service.
- Manages tasks efficiently with accurate records and documentation.
- Works well with departments, adapts to changes, and resolves issues independently.
- Reliable and able to serve as a backup when needed, maintaining service consistency in the CSE role.
